Demystifying Chinese Medicine: A Modern View of an Ancient Medical Science
Chinese Medicine (CM) is couched in ancient language and world-view and to the modern observer easily appears to be metaphysics. But what were the ancient Chinese really talking about? What is “qi”? What are the acupuncture “meridians”? Is CM metaphysical “energy” medicine, or real anatomy and physiology?
